Primary 6 and 7 Bridge Building Investigation
As part of our Victorian topic, Primary 6 and 7 took on the role of Victorian inventor Isambard Kingdom Brunel and try our hand at building bridges!
We were given the following materials:
- Straws
- Elastic bands
- String
- Cello tape
Firstly, we split into our investigation groups to consider various styles and structures of bridges.
After that we gathered together our materials and drew out our planned approach.
We then worked collaboratively to construct and test our bridges.
